In mood to POP a fruited sour ale?
POP sour ale is flavored with one of the most popular fruits of all: the juicy and sweet raspberry. To balance it out, we paired it up with tart lime and floral, aromatic lavender. A surprisingly balanced trio!
Even though lavender sometimes gets a kind of a bad rep for turning out soapy, this is not the case! By adding both dried flowers and fresh lavender leaves to boil, we were able to achieve a pleasantly floral, but much deeper flavor with an almost cinnamon-like twist.
