ANTHROPOCENE NEPA
Before cultural climate change was even a thing, there was the Anthropocene. Now our exo-paleoclimatologists have dialed down axial electrical power with an anthropocentrifuge and unleashed ANTHROPOCENE. All this word-salad aside, what we have here is a solid double dry-hopped New England Pale Ale, bursting with citrus and floral aromas.
Our goal was to brew a beer where orange, lime, and grapefruit appear in gradual layers, followed close behind by a wave of tropical sweetness in the form of mango and apricot. So that’s the idea behind ANTHROPOCENE.
The hop lineup is as classic as it gets: Citra Incognito, Amarillo, Cascade, Motueka, and Motueka Amplifire oil.
A NEPA in this climate? Well… maybe a couple.
The artwork on this beer’s label was created by Julia Virpi. This is what Julia has to say about the inspiration behind it: This piece of art was inspired by Anthropocene and how humans have irreversibly impacted the planet. Not all change is bad, though; we are lucky to live in a world with such skilled craft, one example being this very beer.
